Un título extraño el de este post, sin embargo, nace de la investigación que estoy llevando a cabo para desarrollar el ensayo que llevará por nombre “El Dintornismo en la Creación Literaria”. Ya he comentado sobre el concepto de Dintornismo que definí en mi libro “Dintornismo, una Teoría Plástico-Filosófica de la realidad”, en los Posts DIBUJAR, PARA CONOCERNOS MEJOR, DIBUJAR Y UMBRALISMO, PARA CONOCER NUESTRO YO INTERIOR; EL DIBUJO COMO LENGUAJE SIMBÓLICO.
Aunque es un título que suena filosófico y en cierta forma así es, también su concepción global contiene aspectos muy concretos y prácticos sobre el caminar y otros tópicos, que al paso del desarrollo del blog y la reflexión, he podido correlacionar con el SISTEMA WALK-RWD, como son la Abstracción, la Meditación, la Concentración, la Relajación tanto física como mental, el Extasis, la Contemplación, el Inconsciente, la Sincronicidad, los Arquetipos que están íntimamente relacionados con el tema de la vacuidad (en sánscrito Sunyata), que son parte importante en la mentalidad filosófica-religiosa de la India.
En este caso se trata de identificar y valorar el concepto de Vacuidad con el Sistema WALK-RWD de caminar, leer, escribir y dibujar. Y que tiene estrecha relación con nuestros sentidos externos, como explicaré más adelante.
La Vacuidad como concepto indio (hinduista), es un camino que podemos utilizar para una mejor concienciación (aplicación y uso: utilización) del sistema WALK-RWD.
Intentemos primeramente comprender este vocablo desde el punto de vista conceptual de la filosofía india, en sus orígenes.
Los textos Upanishads –desde los siglos más remotos, siglo VIII a. C.- utilizaron el concepto de la Vacuidad y el filósofo y monje indio Nagarjuna (siglo II d. C.) fue quien lo retomó empezándolo a utilizar en forma más profunda, y afirmaba que el ser humano podía despertar, de tal manera que estaría en posibilidad de observar y comprender la realidad que nos circunda; para lo cual era indispensable pensar que todas las cosas están vacías; inclusive el mismo pensamiento que permite ensimismarse en ese mundo vacío, es un pensamiento vacuo.
Debo señalar que el calificativo de vacío, vacuo o vacuidad no representan aspectos triviales, fútiles u obtusos, sino significan una de las más grandes concepciones que la filosofía hinduista (Brahmnismo, Budismo y Jainismo) ha concebido e instaurado por siempre. No nos referimos obviamente a ese tipo de vacío que experimentamos y sentimos cuando por ejemplo vemos la televisión, sin verla, o cuando oímos la radio, sin oírla; que no nos separamos de esos dispositivos electrónicos (aparatos) –porque no queremos y no podemos- por 1, 2 o más horas y sin estar atraído ni interesado para ver y escuchar.
Por el contario, ese poder de observación -ver, pensar e imaginar- a través del lente de la Sunyata (Vacuidad), sobre todas las cosas que nos rodean de modo vacuo, le permitía a la persona un despertar absoluto.
El maestro Nagarjuna sugería que para lograr ese poder de liberación y despertar era indispensable vivir una forma especial de vida; trasladarse y permanecer en una existencia diferenciada (Samsara) a la tradicional, y adecuada al nuevo modo de observar el mundo (realidad externa e interna).
La Sunyata funciona creando y permitiendo observar nuevos mundos (realidad exterior y realidad interior) al permitir la indagación develada (ver, pensar e imaginar) por medio de la meditación, creando diferentes formas de pensamiento, mismas que serán elementos vacíos para alcanzar el despertar absoluto.
Para lograr ese despertar se deberá recorrer un camino, el camino de la Sunyata o Vacuidad, un camino vacuo, un camino del desprendimiento y munificencia (generosidad y altruismo). Es una senda por la que se debe transitar y en la cual no existen los extremos exagerados, sino que está sembrada por demandas y acciones moderadas.
Esa moderación es la calificación que se debe disponer para que las acciones bajo los lineamientos del Mahayana o escuela de la vacuidad de Nagarjuna estén en el punto medio del comportamiento humano, centradas dentro de los límites extremos de la condición humana.
Las acciones extremosas están canceladas como demanda funcional del Sunyata, sin embargo, si por alguna razón los “sunyatines” (adeptos) se tenían -o tienen- que relacionar con acciones o ideas exageradas podrán siempre cancelarlas o evitarlas, rechazándolas. La Escuela de Nagarjuna floreció precisamente porque respondía a esa moderación en las demandas y que condenaba la obligatoriedad del comportamiento en los extremos exagerados; de ahí que haya incluido dentro de su filosofía el Camino de la Vía Media, o del Centro Medio o de la Vía Intermedia (Madhyamaka).
El mundo está vacío. Las cosas están vacías. Los conceptos, al igual que las palabras, se escuchan vacías. Estas son las proposiciones filosóficas fundamentales del Mahayana o escuela de la Vacuidad. Lo que presentamos en este post es una más de las decenas de interpretaciones que se han procurado sobre lo estipulado y fundamentado por la escuela de pensamiento de la Vacuidad de Nagarjuna, el Mahayana.
Para nuestra concepción occidental imaginar que nuestra existencia es un vacío y que está rodeada de cosas vacías, es bastante confuso, sin embargo, no debemos entenderla como una vacuidad absoluta e ilimitada (infinita); la comprenderíamos mejor como una Vacuidad Metafísica.
Para Nagarjuna esta filosofía fue un proceso creativo que utilizó para lograr el Despertar.
Este objetivo lo podríamos equiparar a un renacer filosófico que implica lo mental, lo emocional y lo espiritual.
Para poder lograrlo es indispensable transitar por un camino vacío, el camino de la vacuidad. Esa meta se logra con la imaginación y la fantasía, y al alcanzar ese lugar vacío se inicia el despertar, el que a su vez, impacta nuestra propia imaginación y fantasía por lo inquietante (impresionante, vital, neurálgico) que es para nosotros el concepto de la Vacuidad.
¿Cómo y cuál es ese camino hacia el Despertar?
¿Cómo hacer para tomar el camino correcto hacia el Despertar y no equivocarse?
La Vacuidad (Sunyata) es la naturaleza característica (propia y real) de todas las cosas, de todos los seres, de toda la existencia. No existe nada que no sea vacuo.
La instrucción y enseñanza de Nagarjuna era un camino que había que recorrer rechazando los extremos; se debía cursar esa senda por los puntos medios, sin tocar los límites extremos de la condición humana.
Ese caminar por la vía media debe realizarse con acciones definidas y precisas (concretas) del ser, condicionado o no, voluntarias o involuntarias, generadas por la necesidad, por el deseo o por el instinto.
Para lograr conducirnos por esa vía media deberemos utilizar la meditación, apoyándonos de modo creativo en la imaginación y la fantasía, evitando caer en los extremos (pasiones, odio, codicia, etc.) con el propósito de buscar que el Karma pierda su capacidad de reproducirse a sí mismo, y así poder alcanzar la liberación de todo sufrimiento y de la reencarnación, al lograr el Nirvana.
Ahora bien, todas esas formas sensibles (los 5 sentidos) y de pensar están vacías, y precisamente, el darse cuenta y reconocer esa Vacuidad –despertando- es lo que nos hace caminar por esa realidad vacía –una realidad aparente- y que sólo así podemos mantenernos en la esfera del Despertar.
En el sistema WALK-RWD, el recorrido preciso, específico y delimitado que definimos con nuestro caminar, al fijar las huellas con nuestros pies sobre el piso del camino que elegimos, es único e irrepetible, pues es imposible volver a reproducirlo, de la misma manera que explicaba Heráclito en su concepción del devenir: una persona nunca podrá bañarse 2 veces en las mismas aguas de un río, pues ellas cambian y fluyen permanentemente. Parafraseándolo diríamos: una persona nunca podrá hacer un recorrido 2 veces de manera idéntica por el mismo camino elegido.
Son las trazas de nuestro recorrido, por un camino definido.
Quisiera mencionar un pasaje de Borges en uno de sus ensayos-relatos, aunque está referido a un cuestionamiento de las Sagradas Escrituras (Borges lo negaría con toda seguridad, y yo agrego: con toda razón). Deseo comentarlo porque sí creo que nuestros pasos (físicos y en alegorías) sí describen alguna forma de nuestro sentir y pensamiento, por no decir también nuestras actitudes ¿y por qué no? también nuestro futuro, ya que el caminar, el avanzar, es definir “un camino de futuro” o sentido de vida. Dice Borges: Aquellas personas pensaron que una Creación prescrita por el Santo Espíritu era un discurso categórico […] Esa premisa maravillosa de un libro enigmático a la casualidad […] Su apología es que nada puede ser casual en la obra de una Inteligencia Infinita. Y comenta que todo teólogo siempre estará dispuesto a explicarla. Borges prefiere dar un ejemplo y es precisamente lo que deseo resaltar. Explica: Los pasos que da un ser humano, desde el día en que nace hasta que se muere, dibujan en el tiempo [y en el espacio] una inconcebible figura; y la Inteligencia Divina percibe esa figura de modo inmediato, como la de los hombres una figura triangular. Y agrega: Esa figura tiene su determinado motivo y función en la construcción y economía del Universo.
Yo lo observo más concreto: no necesariamente es una filigrana compleja, es el primer paso de un día cualquiera, la dirección que tomamos, el sentido de nuestros pasos, … y claro, tiene un propósito personal –encriptado- o una función en la economía del universo, como lo señala Borges.
Recurriendo a mi teoría del Dintornismo, y haciendo una analogía con una pintura, podemos decir que los límites físicos del camino por el cual transitamos, que se encuentran a ambos lados del mismo, es el marco del cuadro; lo que se representa en el cuadro plásticamente con líneas, formas, colores, etc. (conformación, configuración, organización), equivale a esas trazas del recorrido de nuestro caminar, a través de todo el trayecto. La interpretación que se logra de la obra pictórica es una equivalencia referida a nuestro camino y caminar (trazo y expresión corporal).
Podemos caminar como nos plazca: de frente, hacia atrás, zigzagueando, despacio, apresuradamente, etc., con la observación de que esas trazas marcan específicamente un recorrido personal e irrepetible.
Nuestro caminar (la línea completa compuesta por las trazas) está condicionado a no salirse del camino, al igual que la pintura se realiza dentro del marco.
Aquí es indispensable mencionar algo para que el pensamiento oriental sobre la Vacuidad se esclarezca un poco. Cuando se hace referencia a que todas las cosas están vacías debemos entender –como lo hemos señalado en nuestro ensayo sobre el Dintornismo- que están vacías porque estamos dirigiendo nuestros sentidos hacia formaciones (creaciones, estructuras, obras) que no percibimos. En el sistema Dintornismo le hemos llamado “Conjunto Ausencia” a esas estructuras vacías. Estamos dirigiendo nuestra vista hacia un espacio donde no podemos ver; estamos equivocados donde creemos que vamos a observar algo; simplemente lo que suponemos está en un espacio ausente a nuestro sentido de la vista, se encuentra en otro lugar; nuestra visión está mal dirigida. Tratamos de escuchar algo donde no existe ningún sonido; estamos equivocados al orientar nuestros oídos hacia un punto donde no podemos escuchar nada; nuestro sentido está mal dirigido pues la fuente sonora está en otro sitio. Y en ambos casos podemos asegurar que existe un Conjunto Ausencia, el cual nos permite tomar conciencia de la realidad aparente y re-descubrir la verdadera.
Regresando a nuestro tema del caminar, una diferencia entre los principios funcionales del sistema WALK-RWD y la filosofía de la Vacuidad, es que ésta , a través de su derrotero conduce al individuo a un lugar final: el Nirvana, donde alcanza el liberarse del sufrimiento y de la reencarnación; y en el sistema WALK-RWD sus logros se obtienen durante todo su recorrido, desde el inicio hasta el final; y cuando se arriba al punto final, ya hemos logrado todas las satisfacciones y los beneficios que el sistema WALK-RWD otorga y favorece (Posts futuros LO IMPORTANTE NO ES LLEGAR AL FINAL y EL CÓMO ES MAS IMPORTANTE QUE EL QUÉ).
Quitándole la parte filosófica y religiosa al concepto hinduista del sufrimiento, podemos decir que el sistema WALK-RWD es equivalente, pues busca también eliminar el sufrimiento dentro de la concepción física (cuerpo) y emocional (mente-psíquico); y por otro lado, podemos asegurar definitivamente que no tiene ninguna relación con la situación espiritual (creencia religiosa) de la reencarnación.
Ahora bien, el camino de la Vacuidad nos conduce –muy apropiada y certeramente- a equilibrar y a tomar conciencia sobre los aspectos que se señalan en la tabla siguiente:
Todos estos aspectos son igualmente los puntales prácticos del edificio filosófico hinduista del Mahayana, corriente religiosa-filosófica de la Vacuidad.
Por su lado, nuestro sistema WALK-RWD nos conduce, también de una manera efectiva, a equilibrar y a tomar conciencia de los aspectos que se relacionan al final del post.
Se intenta y se procura recorrer el camino, en uno y en otro sistema, para descubrir y apreciar la ausencia de las cosas.
En el Mahayana (hinduismo) se alcanza el Nirvana y se logra interrumpir todas estas “acciones”, específicamente al poder conseguir la liberación de todo sufrimiento y de la reencarnación; mientras que en el sistema WALK-RWD no se pierde la relación y se continúa fluyendo, es un régimen inagotable.
Por ejemplo, en ambos caminos se logra una TERAPIA sanadora –sobre algunos padecimientos físicos y emocionales-.
En la Vía media (Madhyamaka), aplicada en el Mahayana, se nos fortalece física y mentalmente, al generar, por varios estados y condiciones, una reflexión trascendente, que nos conduce hacia el interior de una luz, misma que tiene naturaleza propia y real –todas las cosas tienen esa característica natural de estar vacías- y por una ilusión infinita (maya) que es imposible escapar de ella, y que además, no se desea escapar de ella, pues se está recibiendo una sanación generado por el sistema Mahayana. En el sistema WALK-RWD no es necesario “entrar” en una ilusión infinita, sino simplemente seguir las conductas naturales del ser humano, las sendas de la condición humana, como por ejemplo el caminar, y todos los resultados que se obtendrán, del tipo extraordinario, no son sobre-naturales.
Podemos enfrentar lo ordenado o desordenado, lo positivo o negativo, lo bueno o malo, lo corrupto o incorrupto, lo justo o injusto, la verdad o mentira, lo sano o insano, etc., al ponernos a caminar como una operación activa y a la vez reactiva.
Regresando a la percepción sensorial, en ambas corrientes sanadoras, las acciones son consecuencia de nuestras percepciones, de lo que nuestros sentidos perciben, de lo que nuestro organismo (cuerpo, mente y espíritu) siente.
En el Madhyamaka (pensamiento y sentir Oriental) los estímulos y las reacciones están orientados más por los conductos sensibles y menos por la razón; mientras que en el sistema WALK-RWD (pensamiento y sentir Occidental), ambos –los estímulos y las reacciones- están más orientados por la razón que por los conductos sensibles.
Un elemento fundamental, común, a ambos procesos, es el caminar por la senda media; en uno y otro se realizan acciones que se van mutuamente alentando y estimulando, y cada una de esas acciones (actividades, aspectos mental-emocionales) sirven como motor para vigorizarse y desplazarse durante todo trayecto, y siempre manteniéndose alejados de los extremos. También en ambos métodos, por lo general, se vive haciendo caso omiso del tiempo, es decir, son tan dinámicos y eficientes que se llega y se permanece en la abstracción total de las circunstancias y estímulos (agentes) externos, manteniéndonos concentrados en los propósitos respectivos de uno o de otro proceso.
En el Mahayana, a medida que se transita y se avanza en el proceso de preparación y aprendizaje (formación y adiestramiento doctrinal), se va conociendo y comprendiendo la Existencia (Samsara) y ese entrenamiento-aprendizaje se va logrando mediante una práctica continua de la percepción sensorial, conociendo las cosas y la interrelación de todas ellas, pero siempre por la vía media (Madhyamika), o sea, sin tocar o experimentar los extremos.
Algunos estudiosos del tema, afirman que la práctica del Mahayana conduce a que pueda alcanzarse o no, pueda suceder o no, pueda resultar o no; sin embargo, nuestra interpretación nos orienta a opinar que el Mahayana conduce indefectiblemente, mediante el adiestramiento y entrenamiento, eliminando la ignorancia, a alcanzar el Nirvana y el Despertar, debido a que es posible y realizable, no existe duda alguna, y debe eliminarse la posibilidad de que no se logre.
Según estas formas de correspondencia e identidad que existen entre el Mahayana y el sistema WALK-RWD, podremos enfatizar las 3 actividades estructuradas dentro del mismo (leer, escribir y dibujar, mientras caminamos), desarrollándolas –como lo hemos expresado en sus respectivos posts- en una forma moderada y ninguna de ellas debe colocarse en extremos, sino que debe estar dentro de una senda, camino o vía media, es decir, se omite “la actividad más importante o principal” y “la actividad menos importante o trivial”; se omite vivir en el pasado y en el futuro, sólo vivir el presente; es falso el pasado y más el futuro, cierto es el aquí y el ahora (Post EL “AQUÍ Y AHORA” CON EL SISTEMA); es decir, el tiempo no experimenta esos dos extremos, el pasado y el futuro, ambos no existen, salvo en nuestra mente como recuerdos (ya vividos) o expectativas aún no realizables; por eso, vivir en el pasado o en el futuro no es vivir, a lo sumo es utilizar nuestra mente para recordar o desear ilusiones o fantasías, por ello se aconseja transitar por la vía media, por el presente. En todo lo relacionado al sistema WALK-RWD, deberemos evitar y eliminar todos los extremos, de tal manera que el “caminar” debe realizarse por ese camino medio, dentro de los límites extremos, y las 3 actividades estructuradas (leer, escribir y dibujar) deben mantenerse también por esa senda.
Por último, quisiera comentar que, al igual que condensamos los aspectos de la escuela Mahayana que consideramos permite alcanzar un equilibrio y tomar conciencia de todos ellos, también enlistamos a continuación aquellos aspectos donde el sistema WALK-RWD ha mostrado su efectividad real y positiva.
(*)Una forma teórica gráfica-analítica para comprender mejor cómo funcionan estos procesos confrontados, es utilizando la teoría vectorial; subrayo: sólo para comprenderla mejor (Ensayo en proceso sobre la Vacuidad utilizando el Análisis Vectorial).
Así pues, logremos esa concienciación del tipo occidental poniendo en práctica el sistema WALK-RWD y observemos su relación con aquellos aspectos de la filosofía oriental encerrados en el sistema Mahayana o escuela de la VACUIDAD de Nagarjuna.
