HOW TO WALK WITH ENTHUSIASM?

Each book that is chosen is a good motivation to walk. The exciting thing about this system is that, apart from providing physical health, there is also motivation for the topics chosen to read or, the texts that spring from their imagination and individual creative power. Everyday, when I go for a walk, I see people who also exercise with the walk, raising their hands, forming circles with their arms, practicing deep breaths, turning their heads, taking longer strides, raising their thighs, and many other forms that from then they generate the exercise of other muscles of the body; obviously, our system does not oppose this incorporation of exercises, which we can do  -after consulting a specialized manual-  when we have stopped reading and writing; but what I want to point out is that invariably these people dedicate less time than me to their walks, which allows me to assure you that these people walk around 30-40 percent of the time that I destine them, and for that reason I wonder will it be Why do they get tired? They are bored? Someone would answer that is because they do not have the time that I have.  I do not know, but what I can assure you is that I never get annoyed in these practices. The very combination of being able to read, write, draw and walk, generates a state of enthusiasm that keeps me with a high interest going around the park, and of course, producing.

When I get tired of reading, I start writing; when I get tired of writing or my inspiration runs out, I start reading; and when I get tired of reading and writing, I draw or continue walking and I start to contemplate the landscape, watch the birds fly or hear them sing; I start meditating or going over the ideas I just read or write, I think about what I will write later, or I just put my mind in blank. But I never get bored.

The generality of the times I have to suspend the three activities to continue with other more ordinary, because I realize that I already exceeded the time.

PHYSICAL TESTING BEFORE STARTING

It is convenient to perform some exercises prior to the application of the system, such as balance. Several tests are recommended in this regard. Standing up, put your head back and lift both arms and hands forward, for about 20 seconds. With this, you will notice if you lose your balance. Perform these same exercises, but with your eyes closed. If you manage to do them without losing your balance, you will be able to start your journey reading and writing. Otherwise, it is advisable to do daily walks without doing other activities at the same time, not reading, writing or drawing. One week will be enough to improve your balance. After this period, the same exercises should be performed again and observe our physical balance.

If you still can not keep the balance, you can use any type of small car in front of you, pushing it while walking and placing the chosen book or notebook on the small car.

Of course there will be those companies in which these two activities are carried out to a minimum degree, but there will be others that carry them out as preponderant activities. These could consider implementing a pilot project for some employees, from different categories and from different work areas, to practice the WALK RWD system, either in the offices themselves, if they have the appropriate facilities, or , in the places that suit the employees themselves, in nearby parks or in any other type of facilities close to their work areas. The results can be observed immediately and you would not have to spend any extra money on your spending and investment programs, since the WALK RWD system is practically free.

Applying this system, productivity, efficiency and quality in the respective company, without a doubt, will increase immediately and significantly; in addition, that the workers themselves will receive a good physical and mental stimulus and feel better for their performance labor.

THE ECSTASY IS ACHIEVED DURING THE WALK

It is very common, when we are carrying out the method, that we question ourselves about how long have I been walking? And it always happens that we feel that less time has elapsed than what really happened. The time passes at a faster rate than we think to be immersed in our walk, because it is similar to what happens in the practice of Zen. Generally, the clock distracts us, but abstracted in our activities articulated to the walk, we do not even feel it pass; and if we set the alarm, we hear it with our ears but we do not make it conscious; we remain abstracted in our activities as we walk.

On meditation I have heard the recommendation that it is preferable to do it in the morning, as soon as the sun rises; from my own experience, I can affirm that at any time of the day, our method reaches the optimal mental and sensory levels of meditation, in any of its approved forms, because the anxieties and worries that we have, immediately vanish from our minds, giving place to a state of ecstasy such that we feel suspended in time and space.

One more recommendation that meditation experts advise is not to practice it immediately after meals, so that the body can digest food correctly, suggesting a break of 1 to 1½ hours. On the contrary, the method of reading, writing or drawing while walking recommends, for the achievement of diverse objectives, precisely the walking after eating; achievements that are quantified punctually in each of those walks after taking food.

The physical and mental state generated by the system is similar to “diving” inside a book: the noises are extinguished, our body is suspended, time stops, the lights go down in intensity; the total ecstasy.

The system introduces you into that ecstasy, without noticing it.

EFFICIENCY AND PRODUCTIVITY IN OTHER FIELDS

Among the activities we carry out daily, related to work within the company to which we provide our services, are the reading and writing. If these activities are for reading, they can refer to books, manuals, magazines, newspapers, memoranda, trades, letters, regulations, laws, minutes and correspondence in general, even e-mails can be included, as we can make an impression of all them, or enter them on any mobile device  -to be able to read them during your walks.

You will see that by including our work obligations to this practice associated with walking, we will be transformed into more pleasant activities, our productivity and effectiveness will increase considerably and the quality will have improved.

Do the following experience: Take that manual, that regulation or any document that your boss has asked you to review and that you have been relegated by tedious, poorly written, because it is an unpleasant topic or simply because you have not been able to pass the first page.

Put yourself to walk with the document under your arm;  start its reading; think you at least have walked a little; you will have given your own body a mimes; you continue like this for 5 minutes and you will see that you will continue walking and reading that despised document.
